Our Water Baptism Celebration is one of the most powerful moments we experience as a church. It’s more than just an event; it’s a sacred step of obedience and a public declaration of a life changed by Jesus. Baptism represents the gospel in motion, going under the water symbolizes the old life being buried, and coming up again reflects the new life we’ve been given in Christ. It’s a moment of surrender, freedom, and new beginnings. Not because we have it all together, but because we’ve said yes to the One who makes all things new.

Every person who takes this step has been walking through our Rooted class, learning what it truly means to follow Jesus and understand the significance of baptism. And year after year, we’ve seen over 400 people come prepared, ready to declare their faith. But what continues to move us is what happens in the moment, so many more respond right there, spontaneously, as they feel God stirring in their hearts. It becomes a powerful reminder that God is still calling people, still changing lives, and still moving in ways only He can.

This will be our fourth Water Baptism Celebration, and we believe with expectation that God is going to do something incredible once again.
