V1 WORSHIP

We are a community of vocalists and musicians who collectively foster places for people of all ages and backgrounds to encounter Jesus through music and prayer.

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

Our Focus

WHAT WE DO

We hold weekly corporate worship gatherings where we play music and sing songs that focus on the message of the Gospel, promote upward-focused lyrics, remind us of Scripture, provide words of encouragement, and stir up faith in the power of God to heal, deliver, and save.

OUR GOALS

Develop worship teams with a heart to bring praise and glory to God and to invite others into God’s presence
Create an environment that would allow for a development of musical skill, as well as an understanding of how to apply them in a corporate worship setting
Provide a place where anyone present who does not know the Lord would have the opportunity to hear and respond to the good news of the Gospel
Cultivate unity and humility amongst the team and community

OUR EXPECTATIONS

All V1 Worship members:

Sing and play corporately

Sunday services, Choir, worship nights, etc.

Attend

Try to be at service to the best of their ability when not serving

Pray

Maintain a regular, personal prayer and devotional life

Read the Bible

Read Scripture regularly, personally and/or at a Bible study

Support, respect, and uplift one another

Every person has a role to play, and every role is important

Grow together

Be intentional to grow in musical ability, godly character, and spiritual maturity
